Plus points
1) Film’s biggest edge is its franchisee value. Bhool Bhulaiya was released in 2007. Kartik Aryan performed well His comedy timing is excellent. He’s also a graceful dancer.
Kiara Advani looks beautiful. She did full justice to her character. Tabu is a surprise package… very effective! In connection to the previous Bhool Bhulaiya, only Rajpal Yadav made it in the film. He is hysterical and managed to get a great footage. The same goes for Sanjay Mishra and Ashwini Kalsekar. Both are outstanding. Milind Gunaji is great too as Thakur.
2) Director Anees Bazmi has succeeded in delivering a good horror-comedy film and is in full form.
3) Film Production designing is rich in terms of photography, locations, costumes, VFX & background score.
Editing is crisp. The first half is fast paced with lots of light moments.
4) Story is refreshing with lots of twist and turns. Dialogues are hilarious throughout.
5) Music is hit. Two songs have being taken from the original version. For today’s generation, these would be as good as new. Song ‘De Taali’ is well pictured.
5) Film is a complete family entertainment and would be loved by the youth. Immense fan following of Kartik Aryan would help too in getting good footfalls.
Minus points
1) Second half is a bit stretched. Can be little dull.
2) Why was Govind Namdev killed? This question would haunt the director and audience for a lifetime.
Box office
Film has got a good opening (30-50%) in the morning. First day collection is likely to be 12 to 14 crore and is 75-100 crore in life time collection.
