Film is based on a true story. Very poorly made. Screenplay was is good but due to poor execution by Director Rishika, film is not appealing. Her direction is not worthy to watch this film.
Film is too slow and drags. Many questions remains unanswered in the story. Like why did Vijay sell his number one newspaper; the rise of his channel Digvijay 24/7, his political journey to become a member of parliament and how did he become a business tycoon in the year 2000 when his assets were only 2 crore against 10 crore liability?
Film hero Nihal R is the biggest setback in the film. His appearance for the 30 year journey remains the same with zero facial expression. He is not at all a hero material. Anant Nag is the only saving grace.
Box Office Verdict:
This film should have been released in Karnataka only instead of Pan-India due to its local appeal.
With poor making of this film, the prospects of business in Hindi would be a disaster. Every Kannada film can not be a blockbuster like KGF and Kantara
