2) Pyar Ka Punchnama- 2 ( 2015)
3) Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety (2018)
4) Dream Girl ( 2018)
5) Chhalaang ( 2020)

Plus points
1) Nushrratt acted quite well and carried the film on her shoulders. Vijay Raaz as her father-in-law, is superb. Paritosh tripathi as her friend, acted brilliantly. He makes you laugh whenever he appears. Anud Singh though not a perfect hero material, is good as Nushrratt’s husband. Rest of the star cast supported well.
2) Locations of the Bhopal and other places of Madhya Pradesh are exploited superbly.
3) Story is quite different. It’s a bold subject. Screenplay is good but drags post interval. Dialogues are hilarious at several occasions.
4) Production values are appropriate as per the demand of the subject.
Minus points
1) Though the subject is quite unique and bold, it may not go well with the audience in India (especially females) where even in cities people are shy to buy condoms from Medical shops; in this film heroine is selling condoms to women.
2) Women oriented films hardly work at the box office. Deepika Padukone (Chhapaak), Sonakshi Sinha (Akira), Vidya Balan (Kahani 2 and Sherani ) and Alia Bhatt (Gangubai) all failed at the box office. It’s not wise decision by the producer to make a heroine oriented film with a relatively unknown face for the mass audience.
3) It’s strange to note that Nushrratt is selling condoms to the women who are above 50-60. Instead the director should have catered to the school/ college kids to increase awareness for use of condoms.
4) Music is blah.
5) Film slows down in the second half.
6) Such a subject is more suited for a documentary and not a 148 min feature film.
Box Office
For the past 2 years at least, audience prefers to watch latest content on OTT platforms only rather than spend on tickets as they know that film will come on OTT after 30 days.
Film Janhit Mein Jari will widely go unnoticed at the box office due to poor promotion. There’s no buzz. It will struggle to recover even PNA cost. Producer’s decision to sell first day tickets at 100 rupees backfired because many multiplexes are not interested in selling them at 100 and refused to release the film. Some wished to sell at 100 till 12 noon show only.
Producer should have distributed free condom pack along with the tickets. That would have been a great idea to promote the film. Advance booking was almost zero.
