Charming Revathi, Director Of Kajol-starrer "Salaam Venky" Has Played Salman Khan's Screen-Sweetheart In The Past !

Salaam Venky is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language sentimental drama film directed by multi-talented Revathi. The heart-warming Hindi film Salaam Venky (releasing December 9th this year) is produced by Suraj Singh and Shraddha Agrawal through their banners, Blive Productions and RTake Studios, respectively. Starring the phenomenal actress Kajol and talented Vishal Jethwa in the lead roles, the film is centered around a true story of a mother and her son, Venky, who suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Way back in 1991, Revathi (real name Asha K. Nair) had made her acting debut in Hindi with Suresh Krissna’s movie Love, opposite star heart-throb Salman Khan. The affable Salman Khan shared a wonderful rapport with his charming co-star Revathi and he has high regards for her amazing talent both as an actress and as a director.
Their on-screen romantic evergreen duet song Saathiya Tuney Kya Kiya (from movie 'Love') is popular even today.In addition to frequent acting roles, multiple National Awards winner Revathi has directed two features (Mitr, My Friend and the milestone movie Phir Milenge) and contributed an episode each to the anthology films Kerala Cafe and the unreleased Mumbai Cutting.
Hindi movie audiences have appreciated actress Revathi in Margarita With A Straw (2014) and of course in 2 States (2014) where she played Alia Bhatt's mother. Charismatic Revathi was last seen in Telugu-Hindi movie Major (2022), where she portrayed Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan's mother. We salute the extraordinary versatile talent of Revathi !
